Article about the Association of North German Universities in the current issue of “Wissenschaftsmanagement – entscheiden – führen – gestalten” (Science Management – Decide – Lead – Shape)
The Association of North German Universities (Verbund Norddeutscher Universitäten, VNU) was founded 25 years ago to collaborate on improving study and teaching at member universities and further developing a high-quality academic culture. The VNU is currently developing into a university policy network that enables the dialogue on current issues in university policy and the development of joint positions and statements. Furthermore, the VNU is also intensifying its cooperation in research funding.
In issue 1/2019 of “Wissenschaftsmanagement – entscheiden – führen – gestalten“, the collaboration, factors for success and related challenges are presented and discussed.
