The Hanse University Alliance (HUA) is re-introducing its Impuls Forschung seed funding programme. From now on, PhD researchers at HUA member universities can apply for financial support for networking or for initiating and developing joint research projects.
Fostering cooperation – strengthening research
With its Impuls Forschung programme, the HUA promotes cross-university interdisciplinary research collaborations and networking in two different funding modules. The focus is particularly on initiating new research projects – with the long-term goal of sharpening the Alliance’s research profile and making it more visible.
Module A: Support with initial networking – e.g. for initial meetings, exchanging ideas, developing concepts (up to €1,500).
Module B: Support for the development of trilateral research projects (up to €5,000). Joint workshops or publications, for example, may be funded. The focus is on project proposals that will be submitted to the DFG.
