Today, the grand launch of the Hanse University Alliance took place at Leuphana University Lüneburg.
Attending and engaging in discussions were representatives from the North German Conference of Science Ministers – Minister Falko Mohrs (Lower Saxony), Senator Katharina Fegebank (Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg), Minister Bettina Martin (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania), State Councillor Irene Strebl (Bremen), State Secretary Dr. Guido Wendt (Schleswig-Holstein), the presidents and rectors of the participating universities, and student representatives from three universities of the Alliance.
