The members of the Association of North German Universities elected Prof. (HSG) Dr Sascha Spoun, President of Leuphana University Lüneburg, as their new spokesperson by unanimous vote. He succeeds Prof. Dr. Johanna E. Weber, Rector of the University of Greifswald, who did not stand for re-election after two terms in office. For the first time, a deputy spokesperson was elected. The President of Kiel University, Prof. Dr. Simone Fulda, will assume this position.
The takeover of the functions will take place at the turn of the year.
