Members of the two working groups on evulation and data monitoring of the Hanse University Alliance contributed to the spring conference of the working group on universities 13. of the German Evaluation Society (DeGEval) at the University of Cologne on 14 March 2025, presenting papers on the topic of evaluating studies and teaching.
In one presentation, the focus was on qualitative and dialogue-based forms of evaluating courses and degree programmes. Another presentation dealt with students’ motivation to participate in surveys and the question of how this relates to their academic success. For this purpose, participation data and study progress data from three member universities were compiled and evaluated.
